Developing Methods & Take Notice teamed up to provide services to the Toyota's Northern Kentucky Offices.

Heritage Raised Panels developed a system for creating custom wainscoting, stairway, and full wall panels for an elegant for homes everywhere. These panels were supplied to home builders and retail customers through out the mid-west United Statues.

Heritage used the Precision of the CNC Router to cut their panels, but there was still a sticking point; the measurements. After collecting the measurements of a room the real work began. The panels were to be made to fit the exact measurements of the room. This created a huge amount of calculations. These calculations were time intensive and fraught with errors. Once the panels were cut there was great risk that they would not fit, re-cutting and rework were the rule.

Developing methods and Heritage Raised Panels teamed up to address this critical bottle neck. Initially, a set of requirements were identified and a project plan was created. Then we executed the plan. First an entry screen was created to enter all the room measurements. Then the calculations were added. Then a 2-D rendering of each wall was generated. Finally, each panel program was created and sent to the CNC Machine for cutting.

The time savings and elimination of errors in this process were crucial for Heritage. Now a dining room’s measurements can be entered in minutes and a rendering reviewed before cutting. The overall process has been streamlined.

United Air Specialist (UAS)
UAS was distributing collateral material via a CD which was published frequently. Their goal was to replace the CD with a dynamic internal website. The volume and complexity of the UAS document library was significant. A layered, permission based, categorized system was developed. Developing Methods worked with UAS to minimize the complexity to create a user friendly website for their representatives. The website was a huge success and the representatives were very please to move to an easy real-time system.
